The treatments by the specialists of the Thoracic Surgery Unit are always coordinated and concerted with the respective specialties, depending on the pathology. In some cases, they even establish interdisciplinary teams for the treatment of specific pathologies of the oesophagus or the spinal column.

In any case, minimally invasive procedures are carried out, as far as the surgical method permits it, in order to avoid surgical complications, and to encourage a fast recovery after the surgery.
