Where is the clinic located?<\/strong><\/p>

It is located in a historic building in the centre of Palma, with entrances from Via Roma 3 (without structural barriers) and Calle Santiago Russi\u00f1ol 9, and in Santiago Russi\u00f1ol 11, the entrance to the Emergencies for vehicles and pedestrians. There is a public parking lot just a few meters away.<\/p>

Is it a public or private health center?<\/strong><\/p>

Since its foundation in 1944, Clinica Rotger has been a private clinic.<\/p>

Which health insurance companies do you work with?<\/strong><\/p>

With all national and international private health and travel insurance companies. You can see the list of the most important companies on this page. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.<\/p>

I am not covered by health insurance. Can I come to the clinic?<\/strong><\/p>

Of course you can. Please do not hesitate to contact us. We will surely find a way to meet your needs through our Medical Solutions Program. Ask for a non-binding cost estimate.<\/p>

How can I make an appointment?<\/strong><\/p>

By calling directly the phone number of the relevant department or the switchboard on 971 448 500. If it is a medical appointment, we recommend that you use the Patient Portal, where you can not only manage your appointments, but also view results and reports.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

What are the opening hours of the clinic?<\/strong><\/p>

The clinic is open without interruption. You can find the opening hours of the different departments and consultation hours in the MEDICAL SPECIALTIES section of this website.<\/p>

What are the opening hours of the Emergency Department?<\/strong><\/p>

Our Emergency Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with a multidisciplinary team to deal with emergencies in the fields of General Medicine, Paediatrics and Traumatology. Specialists from other fields are also permanently on site in case their intervention is required. There is also constant support from the Radiology department and the laboratory for clinical analyses.<\/p>

Can I view the results of my clinical analyses on the Internet?<\/strong><\/p>

Yes, you can consult them on the Patient Portal, where you can also manage your appointments.<\/p>

What documents do I need to bring with me for an inpatient hospital stay?<\/strong><\/p>

The authorisation from your health insurance company, your health insurance card, your identity card, the pre-operative tests and the signed consent form, if your doctor has instructed you to do so.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What personal items should I bring with me for an inpatient hospital stay?<\/strong><\/p>

A pyjama, a bathrobe, slippers, your personal belongings and your usual medication.<\/p>

What are the patient visiting hours?<\/strong><\/p>

In the rooms, visiting hours are free, unless medically contraindicated. However, we recommend avoiding visits before 9 am and after 9 pm in order to preserve the patients’ rest. For the same reason, we also recommend limiting the number of people accompanying patients during the day to avoid crowds and noise.<\/p>

This general principle is limited by the restrictions imposed by the pandemic.<\/p>

I will deliver at your clinic. What clothes should I bring for the baby?<\/strong><\/p>

If it is a natural birth, you should bring 6 full body suits, 4 pyjamas, as well as clothes to leave the clinic later.<\/p>

If it is a cesarean birth, we advise you to increase the number of bodysuits and pyjamas as you will be staying at the clinic longer.<\/p>

Diapers, bathing utensils, bottles, etc. are provided directly by our infant care department.<\/p>

Are there any restrictions on the use of mobile phones or other electronic devices?<\/strong><\/p>

There are no restrictions, except in the technical areas, but we ask you to always keep an eye on the patients’ calmness.<\/p>

Are all rooms equipped with TV and Wi-Fi?<\/strong><\/p>

Yes, all rooms have satellite TV with channels in several languages and free Wi-Fi. If you are interested, please ask the Admissions Department for more information.<\/p>

What other services does the clinic offer?<\/strong><\/p>

Free daily press, a caf\u00e9-restaurant, a children’s play area, a conference room and a chapel.<\/p>

Do you have interpreters in the clinic?<\/strong><\/p>

Yes, we have multilingual staff available 24 hours a day to assist international patients in all procedures and to act as a contact person for the health care staff. We also have a simultaneous translation service for conferences in more than 50 languages.<\/p>

When should I leave the room when I am discharged?<\/strong><\/p>
