The Nuclear Medicine Institute at Clinica Rotger makes the most cutting edge and increasingly in demand technology for diagnostic imaging available to doctors and patients. The unit is technically equipped to carry out all explorations relating to the field of Nuclear Medicine (planar gamma imaging, SPECT and PET-CT).

EQUIPMENT
  • For conventional gammagrams we use the latest in technology from the Siemens brand: a dual-headed e-cam gamma camera with adjustable angles and attenuation correction. Its station for the acquisition and treatment of data allows for tomographic SPECT explorations, full body and any nuclear medicine imaging.
  • For Positron Emission Tomography (PET-CT) we use a Siemens BIOGRAPH-16.
  • PET-RM Fusion imaging
FACILITIES
  • Gamma camera room with two changing rooms.
  • PET-CT room with two treatment rooms for preparing the patient.
  • Radiopharmacy Radioactive tracers are prepared on a daily basis within the unit's own radiopharmacy which is equipped with two laminar flow cabinets to ensure manipulation is carried out within the strictest levels of sterility, and an area destined to quality control of each tracer.
  • Waiting room for patients
  • Administration and patients' reception
  • Doctor's office
